Sarah is an Ayurvedic practitioner, Yoga instructor, Massage therapist, Nutrition counselor and Lifestyle coach. She has been teaching yoga for over a decade, and through her devotion discovered Ayurveda, the sister science to yoga. Her current focus resides with Ayurveda, as she sees it as the most complete approach to Holistic Health she has ever found.
Yoga focuses on the physical practices, which we call Asana, and Ayurveda focuses on the correct diet and lifestyle for the individual, and incorporates natural remedies like herbs, essential oils, self care practices and bodywork. Ayurveda is an ancient science and healing modality originating in India over 5000 years ago. The science is based on elemental theory, recognizing that the 5 elements that are present on the planet: ether, air, fire, water and earth,
also reside within our own bodies. Depending on which elements are the most dominant in a particular body will determine that person’s body constitution. From this place of knowledge, all decisions in life can be catered to that unique constitution to create optimal balance and vitality; so each time we make a choice for our body, we can rest assured that we are choosing what will create balance for us, rather than imbalance.
Sarah has a unique approach with Ayurveda, as she merges this ancient science with modern life to make it simple and effective for the average person to use on a daily basis. Her intuitive approach is grounded in science, and her way of explaining makes it accessible to anyone who wishes to use it. She is particularly fond of working with women, especially those who are emotionally sensitive and prone to stress, as she has overcome major obstacles in her life in
these areas and finds great joy in helping others do the same. Sarah believes that the emotional work is equally important to the physical shifts, and weaves the two together with grace and ease. You will feel comfortable in her presence, secure in her knowledge and confident in your ability to make optimal health decisions after working with her. She is excited to guide 3 new women into deeper clarity of their bodies, uncovering your unique constitution, the special gifts that you bring with it, as well as the particular ways your body operates that require specific foods, remedies, lifestyle and the like. The consultation will be offered in order to help you fine tune your specific approach with the cleanse, as well as empower you with a deeper understanding of how to best care for yourself moving forward.
